About the PHenomenal Hope 5k
The annual PHenomenal Hope 5k is a set of races in Pittsburgh, PA, that include distances of 5k, 1 mile, and 1/2 mile. The goal is to raise research funds and general awareness of pulmonary hypertension, a rare disease with no cure. The race is organized and managed by Race Director Julia Feitner, who herself discovered at the age of 25 that she had pulmonary hypertension in 2004.
