Race With Us

We are an official Silver Level Pittsburgh Marathon charity. We participate in the Run for a Reason program.

That means two things if you sign up to race with Team PHenomenal Hope:

  1. Your race registration is waived! Just be sure you officially register through our Crowdrise page to race in the Pittsburgh Marathon
  2. You agree to fundraise for our official nonprofit charity! See the fundraising levels below.

2017 Fundraising Minimums

– Relay Team – $1000
– Full Marathon – $500
– Half Marathon – $350
– 5K – $150
– Kids Marathon – $50

100% of funds raised by racers, after accounting for Crowdrise platform fees, will go towards research into PH treatments or a cure.

Volunteer

If you’re not a runner, we still need you! This year, back by popular demand, we will be staffing the fluid station at Mile Marker 8, so come and join us as we support the Pittsburgh community in our city’s biggest sporting event of the year.

Click the yellow “signup” button, and then find “Team PHenomenal Hope” in the list of volunteer opportunities!

Our Official Aid Station at Mile Marker 8

The Team PHenomenal Hope aid station is at:

1625 West Carson Street in front of the Onala Club (South Side)

#LetMeBeYourlungs

Race with us and you will have the opportunity to race for someone who lives with pulmonary hypertension. This personal connection means that you’re not only racing for your own personal record, but directly for a special member of our community.

We ask each marathon team member if they are interested in running for a patient. If you are, we will work to get you set up. If you are not, no worries.
