Announcing Team PH’s New Executive Director
My name is Linda Appleby and I am honored to join Team PHenomenal Hope as the new Executive Director. I come to Team PH with more than 15 years of development and fundraising experience, working in higher education, and healthcare at the Cardiovascular Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and then the ProHealth Care Foundation. In my fundraising career, I have had the privilege of working with many wonderful volunteers and donors whose passion and commitment to making a difference in peoples’ lives inspires me every day in my work.
While working in Cardiovascular Center of the Medical College of Wisconsin I first learned of the patient and family impact of pulmonary hypertension. The inspiring patient and family stories lead me to work with grateful families, patients, volunteers and other stakeholders to raise funds to create research seed grants to advance patient treatments for PH, and to create patient impact grants to help with unmet patient needs. This is what first led me to Team PH.
I am an avid cross country skier, kayaker, and enjoys biking. I also enjoy nature photography. I have two Norwegian Forest Cats named Loki and Thor. I am active in my church and community. I am passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives, and I look forward to working with Team PH!
