In part 2 of our sponsor thank-yous, we highlight our Ironman sponsors. These groups really helped us swim/bike/run from the start to the end of our 2015 season, and we want to give them a special shout out.
Radio 360 joined us on the road again this year, providing us with race radios to keep us in contact for our Race Across the West. From getting us connected at team practices to providing us with radios to communicate in areas without cell coverage, Radio 360 kept us safe and helped us stay on course. We appreciate the support of Will Bird in our second year of relay ultraracing. He is incredibly responsive and dedicated to making sure his customers have the best set-up for their specific needs.
Our athletes balance tight training schedules with busy work schedules; a week without training can prevent them from showing up on race day. Time and again, UPMC Sports Medicine was there to help Team PH make it to the starting line and cross the finish line, and stay healthy to train for the next race. We also thank UPMC Sports Medicine for providing us with an athletic trainer during Race Across the West to assure a continuous healthy and optimized performance, and for helping our athletes get the perfect bike fit in the Cycling Performance program. Joining us for the first time this year was Steve Bon, president of Bon’s Eye Marketing. His team has become the outreach arm of Team PHenomenal Hope, helping us reach out to the media and social media, effectively communicating our mission and goals in each race and throughout the year. From unique graphic design to beautiful graphic art for posters at our events, they have helped us “CAT up” our visibility and message of awareness regarding Pulmonary Hypertension. Steve and his marketing crew understand and value Team PHenomenal Hope, and we thank them for their PHenomenal support.
Also new to our sponsorship team this year, we welcome Vie13, our clothing sponsor. This is a company owned by cyclists and people who race, with high standards for quality clothing and style.
