Why We Use Give

Team PHenomenal Hope uses the Give fundraising platform, which makes accepting donations really simple.

Give charges zero commission charges. We integrate with the super powerful Stripe Payment Gateway, which accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. Stripe’s straightforward merchant fee policy is: every transaction is charged 2.9% plus $0.30. And no monthly charges.

Give provides us with a simple way to allow our donors to cover those transaction costs. Based on our previous experience, it turns out that most donors elect to cover the fees themselves. In fact, in reports run on randomized quarters, we found that between 98-99% of the donations were coming through to Team PHenomenal Hope.

We know donor contributions matter. We want as much of that transaction to go where each donor intended so that together, we can win the race to bring improved quality of living to those suffering from Pulmonary Hypertension.
