Event Summary

A classic American race with a family-friendly atmosphere.

The 1.2-mile swim in the clear refreshing waters of Lake Michigan begins on the beach. The bike course winds through rolling wine country and orchards, and the shaded run is lined with enthusiastic volunteers. Athletes finish on the beach, where families can hang out and play until athletes finish the race.
