Fifth Annual PHenomenal Hope 5K
Saturday, April 21, 2018 will be our 5th Annual PHenomenal Hope 5K run/walk to find a cure for Pulmonary Hypertension. To date, this race has raised over $100,000 for the PHenomenal Impact Fund to provide PH research grants so that we can ultimately find a cure for this disease.
This year’s race, which is presented by Allegheny Health Network, promises to be our biggest yet. We are poised to break the $40,000 mark for the first time ever. Every participant brings us closer to that goal. Help us get there by lacing up your running shoes and joining us on Saturday, April 21, at the Northshore Riverfront Park in Pittsburgh for this fun-filled event. With a balloon artist, Chinese auction items, a bake sale, and more, there is something for everyone.
Race day will kick off with registration and check-in at 8:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park, followed by a 1/2 mile Kids’ Race at 9:30. The 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk will begin at 10 a.m. Heinz Field Boat Launch is the start/finish line for all races, with the flat course winding along Northshore Riverfront Trail. Awards for the 5K run will fall into gender and age categories. This is a great event, whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner.
