Health in Motion: Liquidia Employees Walk Alongside PH Patients
During PH Awareness Month, a simple desire—to more deeply connect day‑to‑day work in pulmonary hypertension research with the real lives of PH patients—became something truly meaningful.
In partnership with Team PHenomenal Hope and the Let Me Be Your Lungs (LMBYL) program, Liquidia launched a “health in motion” challenge centered on connection and purpose. Each regional team was matched with a PH patient, putting names to faces and keeping patients at the heart of every effort.
Throughout November, 71 Liquidia employees across six regions committed to movement in many forms—walking, hiking, running, strength training, boxing, ziplining, skydiving, and more. Together, they logged an inspiring 2176.5 hours of activity and raised more than $16,000 to support Team PHenomenal Hope and its patient‑focused programs.
Through Zoom conversations with their LMBYL Patient Heroes, employees gained firsthand insight into life with PH—the challenges, resilience, and dreams that endure. When patients shared wishes like ziplining or skydiving, Liquidia team members honored those dreams by stepping outside their comfort zones and bringing them to life.
