Last Ride of the Season: A Quick Update from Irina Petrache
The last ride of the season was a memorable one, for its beauty, for the chance of sharing it with my friend Patty George, and for the opportunity to represent our Team PHenomenal Hope!
The Tour of the Moon takes place in Grand Junction, CO, on the Western slope of the Rockies, with more desert-like scenery, deep canyons, and lot of red color. The ride was fun, with some cross winds in the town of Fruita, with lots of support, friendly people on and off the bike, and quick change in weather from chilly morning, sunny, windy, to severe thunderstorms.
I am grateful to have been part of the team for the first time this year and thankful to the friends who have supported our efforts to help those suffering from pulmonary hypertension.
