Letter from the Director: Join us in 2020
Happy New Year! 2020 is the start of Team PHenomenal Hope’s second decade serving the PH community. We have been busy setting our goals for the new year and beyond.
First things first; we are thrilled to announce our second year of accepting proposals for the PHenomenal Impact Fund for Global PH Research will begin on Wednesday, January 29th. Those interested in applying for our research award of $50,000 should visit www.teamphgrants.org and submit a letter of intent. Please note process deadlines listed in the program overview.
With your help we were able to end 2019 on a strong note, securing two donor matching grants totaling $10,000. The impact of your support allows us to launch new initiatives. One such initiative is to offer scholarships for pediatric PH patients and their families to attend PHA’s International PH Conference in June! We listened to the community and heard the need for assistance to help families with pediatric PH patients make it to this conference. We will open our Pediatric PH Conference Scholarship application on Monday, February 3 at 12 p.m. CST. Go to the homepage of our website at www.teamph.org and find the link to our application under the “Call to Action” section. Our 2020 endurance program recruitment is open! Whether you run 5Ks on the weekend, or bike mountain trail races, we have a spot for you. We are excited to provide our team with our new racing kit, and now allowing the public to purchase the kit as well. Represent Team PH and spread awareness while training and racing in style and comfort. Team PH remains committed to our Unmet Needs Patient Impact Fund. It will reopen on Monday, February 3 at 12 p.m. CST. This fund is intended to assist patients with immediate and non-medication needs. In order to keep up with the demand to help PH patients through this fund, we need your financial support.
