Team PHenomenal Hope PH Awareness Webinar Series – Fall 2023

August 30,2023

Team PH will celebrate PH Awareness Month, November, with a series of accessible educational webinars (via Zoom) for people living with PH, caregivers, medical professionals, and other members of the community. This year we are starting things early, beginning in September, then October, leading up to our final webinar during PH Awareness month in November. We look forward to hosting specialists in the field to provide clear education on the following topics that can require breakdowns and the opportunity for Q & A. The webinars will cover:

1. Current PH Research and Evolving Therapies – Watch the recording here.
Tuesday, September 19 at 7 p.m. ET
Tune in to hear from Dr. Meghan Cirulis, Dr. James Ford, Dr. Todd Kolb, and Elise Whalen, NP, regarding exciting new research for the treatment and study of PH and the evolving therapies. This will serve as an update to the community in a way that can be understood better than just reading straight from a medical journal.

2. InPHorm: PH Patients Tell All – Watch the recording here.
Wednesday, October 18 at 7 p.m. ET
This late-night talk show format includes moderator and caregiver Kayla Frattini interviewing three PH patients from diverse backgrounds. The event is designed to provide listeners with relatable and practical information to support physical, social, and emotional well-being throughout the PH journey. These personal insights can only be provided by fellow patients who understand the challenges of living with PH.

3. Team PH Pulmonary Hypertension State of the Union Town Hall
Wednesday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET
This webinar will include speakers from the medical community to discuss rapid -fire topics and an update from the Team PH 2022 research award winner, Dr. Arun Jose of the University of Cincinnati, on his project findings.
