Thank You for Supporting the Team PH 2022 Let Me Be Your Lungs Challenge!
Friends and PHriends,
With PHA Conference 2022 is now in the books, all I can say is WOW. It was so amazing to see everyone again, as well as meet new friends, and the conference sessions were most excellent. I have always enjoyed PHA Conference, a conference organized by patients and physicians and researchers to talk about the latest science and medicine in pulmonary hypertension, as well as work through how people live their best lives with PH. So many excellent sessions led by those living with PH and caregivers, as well as physicians, nurses, and our industry partners.
Of course, a highlight for me was the energy we felt at our Team PHenomenal Hope Booth and Let Me Be Your Lungs Challenge. Seeing people on the Peloton bikes, literally side by side with those who live with pulmonary hypertension, epitomizes how we all are a team in this race to make a difference in the lives of those with PH. It fills my soul and spirit to see the community come together at conference and at our booth.
We want to thank everyone who participated in the Let Me Be Your Lungs Challenge, athletes, patients, caregivers, and of course our sponsors. I also want to send a personal thank you to Katie Werner, Linda Appleby, Julia Feitner, and Lenise Whitley who planned and carried out an incredible event at our booth.. And we also want to send a special thank you to Megan at Peloton Alpharetta, who brought the bikes so that people could “sweat with swagger” at PHA 2022.
