My PH Story
In 2009 I started noticing that I could do less and less without becoming sob.
I saw a pulmonologist who said he thought I may have pulmonary hypertension, but would only treat me with an asthma inhaler.
By 2012 my husband told me if I didn't find another Dr. I wouldn't be here in another year. I found a PH specialist in my area and he had me diagnosed with a right heart cath within two weeks and I began a proper course of treatment.
I have since started a support group in Augusta, Georgia and become active in the PH community.
