The 6th Annual PHenomenal Hope 5K is this Saturday, April 27th!
We are so excited to see as many of you there as possible. Organizer Kayla Frattini and her crew of volunteers are hard at work making this an enjoyable and successful event. The PH 5K is a major contributor to our Team PH Global Research Fund and we are happy to announce that our first $50,000 PH related research award will be awarded late spring. Even if you cannot attend the 5K you can still follow the event on social media and make a donation to support our athletes, patients, and research fund. Please show your support!
Team PH is excited to announce we will be partnering with Actelion on May 6th in honor of World PH Day. Actelion employees will ride stationary bikes in an endurance challenge to see how many miles we can ride together in support of the PH community. Actelion employees will have the chance to experience what it is like to race with Team PH and lose their breath for those suffering from PH. Thus far in 2019, Team PH has already aided 40 PH patients by granting out $20,000 dollars in Unmet Need Patient Impact Fund micro-grants. Unmet Needs in our community are still great, and we rely on your donations to continue assisting patients. Since January 1st of this year, Unmet Needs Fund recipients have held Facebook fundraisers, reached out to family and friends, and have held bake sales and other small fundraising events, collectively raising more than $5,000 to replenish the fund. Team PHenomenal Hope is the only charity organization to provide patients with financial assistance for unmet needs. Thank you for your support and donations this unique program.
